Auburn Head Baseball Coach John Pawlowski announced that Throw90.com has completed its website updates and has re-launched the site to include two new features.  The site sports a new design and now includes Auburn baseball camp, clinic, and showcase information under the name Auburn Baseball Academy (www.AuburnBaseballAcademy.com) The site also introduces a new feature focusing on Coach Pawlowski's marathon running to help raise money and awareness for cancer research (www.RunCoachRun.org)

Run Coach Run to Support Cancer ResearchThe premier event of New York Road Runners, the ING New York City Marathon is one of the world's great road races, drawing more than 100,000 applicants. The race attracts many world-class professional athletes, not only for the more than $600,000 in prize money, but also for the chance to excel in the media capital of the world before two million cheering spectators and 315 million worldwide television viewers. As any one of the more than 700,000 past participants will attest, crossing the finish line in Central Park is one of the great thrills of a lifetime.

Coach Pawlowski has completed 7 marathons, most recently the Chicago Marathon in October 2007.  This time he is running to raise funds to help support cancer research and invites you to help in the fight.

The Select-20 Camps are very high end training events developed by Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski.  Space is limited to 20 players in each session. The camps are designed for HS players who have established themselves at their current playing level and who are ready to make the commitment to reach the next level.

This is an intensive and specific camp for players who want to learn how to Prepare Better, Play Better, and Produce Better Results!

Does nutrition really make a difference in athletic performance? According to experts, the most important determinants of athletic prowess, in decreasing order of significance.

1. Genetic make up

2. Athletic Training / Physical conditioning

3. Sound Nutrition

It is not possible for a person’s genetic make-up to be altered. However, physical training and conditioning can be maximized for peak performance and often can make a difference between winning and losing. Likewise proper nutritional intake can help maximize an athletes full genetic potential – especially when muscle development is occurring during physical conditioning – but it is not possible to change athletes into superstar champions simply by altering their diet. On the other hand, a poor diet can substantially impair full athletic performance despite adequate physical training.
