Scott Foxhall

Scott Foxhall

Assistant Coach: Auburn University

Foxhall's recruiting skills and guidance as a pitching coach have combined to yield several noteworthy success stories. In the past 3 seasons, nine of his former pitchers have gone on to sign professional contracts despite not being drafted out of high school. In all, thirteen of his former pitchers have been selected by MLB teams, with five selected in the first 10 rounds.

Foxhall's most recent draft selection was Nick Chigges, a 13th round pick of the New York Yankees and the 2007 Southern Conference pitcher of the year. Chigges, who is Charleston's all-time wins leader, went 31-5 in his four year career and was the first pitcher in Southern Conference history to repeat as pitcher of the year. Foxhall has helped the Cougars produce four consecutive Southern Conference pitchers of the year.

"My excitement for being back at Auburn is two-fold," Foxhall said. "First, it is an honor to be part of such a prestigious institution and a tradition-rich athletic program. Second, I'm thrilled to be able to continue my career with one of the best coaches in the country in John Pawlowski. I look forward to joining Coach Pawlowski and Coach Heath in winning future championships at Auburn."
