maximized for peak performance and often can make a
difference between winning and losing. Likewise proper
nutritional intake can help maximize an athletes full
genetic potential – especially when muscle development is
occurring during physical conditioning – but it is not
possible to change athletes into superstar champions simply
by altering their diet. On the other hand, a poor diet can
substantially impair full athletic performance despite
